Dates: 18 July 2022 – 29 July 2022

Location: Blair Atholl

Applications (including Scottish staff applications – see below) are now open for the 38
th Blair Atholl Patrol Jamborette, Scouts Scotland’s flagship event and one of the longest running international Scout camps in the world.

500 Scottish Explorer Scouts will camp alongside scouts from around the world, working as a dual patrol of 12, in one of six subcamps.  There is an exciting programme of activities and the opportunity to form lasting international friendships.

The camp takes place in the stunning surroundings of the Blair Castle estate in Highland Perthshire. Over ten days, you will enjoy a massive range of activities and live events, ranging from watersports and mountain biking to Bushcraft and the infamous Atholl Experience.

Explorers who are selected to attend will get to camp for ten days on one of Blair Atholl’s signature subcamps as part of a joint patrol of 12 – 6 Scottish Explorer Scouts and 6 Scouts from abroad. International participants from all over Europe, North America, and further afield are expected to be in attendance. Many former attendees of Blair Atholl find by the end of the camp that they end up with friends for life all over the world.
