Our Safety and Safeguarding Policy statement
It is the policy of The Scout Association to make every effort to safeguard its members and young people at its centres from physical, sexual and emotional harm while participating in scouting activities. All young people at Bonaly and Longcraig are treated as if they are members of The Scout Association for the purposes of its child protection policy. The Scout Association takes all reasonable steps to ensure that, through relevant procedures and training, children, young people and adults taking part in scouting activities and other activities at the Centres do so in a safe environment.
Scout and Guide groups are required to produce the relevant permits.
Provision for all personal and group equipment is the responsibility of the visiting group.
A First Aid Kit is always available but visiting groups should also provide their own kits.
Sorry, dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted on site.
