Happy New Year! Well, not quite the start to 2021 that we all wanted, but Bonaly Scout Centre will be ready as soon as we can meet up again!

We’ve been busy over the winter shutdown period and despite the weather there is now a new sewage treatment system in place, although you won’t see it because it was buried in a very big hole in the carpark. We also have a new and not-so-steep access ramp to our main carpark, so no more scraped bumpers!

Looking to future times we are continuing to develop our new activity programme. “Modern Traditional Scouting” will look to use traditional Scouting to build Skills for Life relevant to young people today and provide Leader training opportunities. This programme will have strong emphases on badgework and helping young people to achieve Top Awards.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR HELP!

Bonaly is very keen to draw on the huge amount of experience there is in the Region, and would love to know your opinions and ideas about how we shape “Modern Traditional Scouting”. So, if you would like to help us develop this new programme we would greatly appreciate if you could fill in our online questionnaire; it takes less than 5 minutes. Click here.
