Bonaly now has shiny new bunk beds for The Chalet thanks to the amazing fundraising campaign that raised £23,019. It proved to be quite a challenge just getting the beds to Bonaly! On the day of the delivery there was a good 20cm of snow, the road was closed, and delivery could not be rearranged. It’s a good job that Scouts are resourceful and we would like to say a big thankyou to the 31st Pentland Scout Group and Hamish Leal who let us use their Scout Hut to store the beds until the snow melted.
We would also like to say another big thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out our “Modern Traditional Scouting” survey. Following on from the survey, we will be arranging online workshops and looking for leaders to join us to help develop this activity programme further. Look out for details of these coming soon.
