A big thank you to all the Leaders who attended the Bonaly “Traditional Scouting Skills” day on Sunday the 14th of May. We pitched patrol tents, tied knots, built fires and looked at camp planning. Bonaly will be looking to continue the Leader Skills programme in 2024.

3rd September Pioneering Day, an opportunity for Scouts and Leaders to develop or refresh their pioneering skills, under the supervision on the Bonaly Team. During the training in the morning, we will cover lashings, the clove hitch and timber hitch. Then the afternoon will be spent building a pioneering project.

30th September – 1st October a weekend of Nature Awareness and Conservation activities for Cubs and Beavers

For more information on the above events and to book a place, please contact events@bonaly.org.uk  Places are limited.

Ken’s Den is huge hit – especially for one-night bookings.

We’re getting great feedback from users for Ken’s Den which we opened earlier in the year. The small village is especially popular as it can be booked for one night which suits younger age groups.

Users are loving the way everything is self-contained and yet part of the bigger Bonaly set-up.

To find out more about the log cabins, shelter and campfire which can accommodate 22 people have a look at https://sesscouts.org.uk/kens-den/.
