Are you passionate about helping young people shape Scouting in partnership with adults? Then this could be the role for you!
This is a new and exciting role in each District in South East Scotland. A key pillar of the Vision 2018 is that Scouting will be shaped by young people in partnership with adults. The ADC(YI) will have a particular focus on activity to promote youth involvement within each District. This includes the formation of a District Advisory Group made up of young people and the election of a District Youth Commissioner.
Could you help young people have their say?
The ADC(YI) will have the support of the newly-appointed ARC(YI) to ensure the voice of young people is heard at all levels of Scouting across the Region.
