EDINBURGH GANG SHOW 2022
The Edinburgh Gang Show is a large-scale variety show with a long, fascinating history and an exciting future. The cast is made up entirely of young people from South East Scotland Scouts and Girlguiding Edinburgh and is supported by over 100 adult volunteers.
It is a fabulous experience participating in a show with very high standards in a professional working theatre and involvement offers the opportunity to make new friends, work towards various awards and gain life skills whilst having fun!
Edinburgh Gang Show 2022 will be staged at the Festival Theatre because the King’s Theatre is closing for a major redevelopment in 2022.
Being in Gang Show requires a significant commitment to rehearsals, the show week as well as to weekly Scouting and Girlguiding. This year we are looking to recruit new members to join both Gangs. Please share the dates with your section, share on social media and encourage as many young people to try out for the show.
Main Gang Auditions (Scouts, Guides, Explorer Scouts, Rangers, Scout Network)
- Sunday 3rd April – Venue to be advised.
Junior Gang Auditions (Cub Scouts and Brownies)
- Sunday 19th June – Venue to be advised.
Details of the format and times of the auditions will be announced in the new year and communicated through Scout and Girlguiding channels.
