Normally the September edition of the Region newsletter the Gang Show report would highlight the activities taken place before the summer break; Cast member auditions, a meet and greet launch night, a parent/carers meeting, technical and costume design meetings, song rehearsals leading to solo, sketch and dance auditions. The Marketing Team would have met to plan a campaign, organise leaflets and posters, book all the available advertising sites around Edinburgh and would have started promoting the show on social channels.
But as we all know by now, there will not be an Edinburgh Gang Show at the King’s Theatre this November. So, be prepared for something else…
The Management Team meet virtually on a regular basis to discuss the Production Team’s ideas and the various backstage team catch up socially over Zoom. Later this month the young people in the Gang will get together for their first virtual meeting/rehearsal and we look forward to bringing that together for our presentation in November.
