There are still a few places available for two of our autumn events.
Conservation and Nature Awareness weekend 1st October.
This is an opportunity for Cubs and Beavers to learn about nature awareness and conservation by taking part in several Bonaly led activities. These will include bug hunting, burn dipping and being nature detectives. We will also be planting trees and doing nature crafts. The activities will take place on Saturday and each group will be allocated four different activities. Beavers are invited to attend for the day and Cubs get the opportunity to stay overnight in Ken’s Den.
Explorers Halloween Survival Camp 28th – 29th October.
Explorers will be challenged to survive the spooky Halloween weekend! They will be sleeping out without tents, cooking on open fires. Food will be provided; all they must do is cook it! There will be survival skills workshops running throughout the weekend and these will include water filtration, advanced fire lighting and backwoods cooking techniques. There will also be the opportunity to share your survival skills with other Explorers, and of course – ghost stories around the campfire. Try not to be too scared!

New Amenity Hub
We are delighted that our new Amenity Hub is on schedule to open in the Autumn. Located between the main field and the Druim field the Amenity hub will provide new showers, toilets and washing up facilities for the site.
Following construction of the building shell the focus is now moving to the fit-out stage.
