In our August Regional Newsletter we told you about a number of upcoming events we were attending to support our adult volunteer recruitment activities.
To date we have attended the Napier University Freshers Fair attended by circa 4,000 students and the Edinburgh Volunteer Fair attended by over 1,000 potential volunteers.
The stands were supported by a number of people from across our Districts and through their efforts and engagement we have nearly 100 leads to follow up which will hopefully result in some additional volunteers to support our existing sections.
Thanks to those who supported the events and to those who are doing the follow-ups – we will report on any successes going forward.
On the 10th October we will be attending the Edinburgh University Volunteer and Careers Fair – thanks to those who are supporting this event.
