Junior Gang Auditions

The Junior Gang have for 25 years been a highlight of the Edinburgh Gang Show and this year we are looking to recruit as many Cub Scouts as possible to be part of the show.

This year, in a first for Edinburgh Gang Show, the Junior Gang will also have an extra bit to do in the show. How exciting is that?!

Please encourage older Beaver Scouts who will be Cubs by November and Cubs who will still be Cubs by show week to give the Gang Show a go.

Gang Show 90

It is 90 years since ‘The Gang’s All Here’, a revue starring 100 London Scouts and written and produced by Ralph Reader, was staged at the Scala Theatre.

To celebrate this remarkable anniversary 160 young people from 39 individual Gang Shows from all over the UK will come together to perform ‘GANG SHOW 90’, a special one-off show at the Eventim Apollo in London on Saturday 9th July 2022.

We are delighted to announce that Edinburgh Gang Show is involved with the show and our representatives in the cast will be Ruben Binney, Honor Dobbie, Matt Knowles and Jess Lyall.

Alan Hunter, Regional Adviser, Gang Show: “We are delighted that the Edinburgh Show will be represented in the celebration of 90 years of Gang Show. I am sure this is an experience our four will never forget. I thank the organisers for the opportunity for Edinburgh to be involved and wish them every success for the Show.”

Andy Johnston, Edinburgh Gang Show Director: “We are very proud indeed to be sending four of the Edinburgh Gang to take part in this unique celebration at the famous Eventim Apollo at Hammersmith. This show celebrates the inspiration of Ralph Reader that still drives Gang Shows across the country and for our young people will be an experience they will never forget.   The pride in both Edinburgh and Scotland that flows annually from the King’s stage will soon be sweeping across London and this talented foursome will represent us with great panache and passion.

I’m actually quite jealous that I’ll only get to watch the show!”

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at eventim.co.uk

There is also the opportunity to join The GS90 Club which offers exclusive benefits and will help fund the show. GS90 – GS90 Club.
