Growth
Scouting provides huge benefits to the young people who take part, giving them opportunities to build skills for life, make friends and have fun! We’re working to grow Scouting even further, to ensure every young person has the opportunity to get involved in Scouting.
While we’re proud of the growth we’ve achieved so far, there’s more we want to do to make sure Scouts is as accessible and inclusive as possible. By inclusive growth, we specifically mean starting Scouts in areas we’ve not been before, and working with communities so we can learn how Scouts can change and adapt to meet the needs of the people we serve. We’re not stopping until every young person who wants to can join, enjoy and thrive in Scouts.
Amy and Nacho are our Scouting Support Team and play an essential part in our mission, bringing valuable expertise and dedicated assistance as we strive to achieve the objectives outlined in our Regional #SkillsForLife Strategy.
Their primary focus is to ensure that every volunteer has the support they need to thrive and grow Scouting. By working closely with volunteers across Groups and Districts, they help shape a positive, enriching environment that upholds the values and goals of Scouting. Their involvement in initiatives like leadership development, program planning, and resource management allows us to reach new heights in youth development, skill-building, and community engagement.
