Kelso Scout Group decided back in October last year to plant some Daffodil bulbs to grow so we could raise money for Marie Curie.
When the daffodils were ready to cut in March the group took them to the local Farmer’s Market which is held in Kelso town centre where the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts did a great job getting people to support them by buying the bunches of cut Daffodils for a donation to Marie Curie. We raised the grand total of £178.52.
They also had a treasure map, our own recipe book and some paracord key rings and bracelets and managed to raise £263.17 for their own group funds.
