Basic first aid training is required for all leaders in all sections in Scouting. Tea and coffee will be provided – please bring a packed lunch. Uniform is not required. If after booking you need to cancel, please email training@sesscouts.org.uk so someone else can use your place.

Safeguarding Workshop

No charge for Adult Training in SESR – 24 spots left

All adults who have regular contact with young people must attend a Safeguarding Workshop and these are offered each term.   Our Region strongly recommends that adults should attend these within one year of validating Module 1 and then every three years to maintain an awareness of the latest guidance offered by the Scout Association. This event will be at Bonaly, in Forth Lodge.

Annual Review and Regional AGM – Tuesday 1 October

Not 28th October as mistakenly advertised in last month’s newsletter. The Annual Review and AGM will start at 7.00pm and be over by 9.00pm. They will be held at 28 York Place, Edinburgh EH1 3EP (aka the Police Club). More details to follow in the September newsletter.
