Midlothian District Beavers recently held a district hike to allow the Beavers to gain an additional hike and an opportunity to explore a country park, adventure playground and an ancient castle!
Three Midlothian Beavers
Beavers from three Colonies hiked almost five miles on a windy autumnal day from Vogrie Country Park to Crichton Castle and back. Despite the super-long walk the Beavers had just enough energy to have a play in the adventure playground before heading home for a well earned rest. My thanks again go to the parents and leaders who gave up to their Saturday to come on the hike and give the Beavers this opportunity. Until next time…
