Are your pack or colony completing their money badge? The Museum on the Mound’s fun, free, money sessions can help!
Bring your Colony, Pack, or Troop to Museum on the Mound for a two hour exclusive Saturday morning visit before they open to the public.
Scout Saturdays are predominantly designed to help Beavers and Cubs prepare for their Money Skills badge through tailor made sessions covering a wide range of the badge syllabus. Your group will be rotated around three different sessions, covering topics such as unusual types of money, how to keep your money safe, and making a money themed badge to take home.
Museum on the Mound will also provide a range of pre-visit activities to cover other areas of the badge syllabus that they do not cover during the sessions.
The sessions run between 10am and 12pm on Saturday mornings, and they can accommodate a maximum of 25 children at a time (with accompanying adults). They are free of charge but must be pre- booked.
Scouts are also welcome to visit, and the team can provide activities such as coin striking, and a museum trail.
If you wish to enquire or book a Scout Saturday session, please contact info@museumonthemound.com
Museum on the Mound may be nearly booked up for this year, but there’s plenty of spaces available for January 2023 onwards. Come and pay them a visit!
