South East Scotland Regional Scout Council
Nominations for Election to Regional Executive Committee
Due to a number of members reaching the end of their terms, the Regional Executive Committee are seeking nominations for up to three trustee vacancies. Any South East Scotland Scouts member over the age of 18 can apply. That includes Leaders, Executive Committee Members, and Networkers among others.
Nominations must be submitted to Andrew Wood, Regional Secretary, at secretary@sesscouts.org.uk no later than Tuesday 14th September.
Given the challenging conditions of the last 18 months, the Regional Executive Committee is committed to supporting local Groups and Districts as they recover from the effects of the pandemic as well as looking to the future and the many opportunities that there are for the Region to offer Skills for Life to even more young people. Interested? If so, we would love to receive nominations from people who have the passion, dedication and skills to help us to achieve this.
To ensure that the Regional Executive Committee is representative of our membership we would particularly welcome applications from women, young people under 25, and people from Black, Asian, and ethnic minority communities.
Please do consider if you, or anyone you know, could help us to make a massive difference to the lives of young people across South East Scotland, and share this information as widely as you can.
