Regional Safety Team

 

Are you keen to support our members and processes around safety, promoting and supporting compliance with The Scouts’ Safety Policy within South East Scotland Region? If so, we are looking for volunteers to be part of the Regional Safety Team

The Safety Team will advise the Regional Lead Volunteer and Trustee Board on the implementation of The Scouts’ Safety Policy within the Region and assist District Lead Volunteers in operating the policy.

Regional Safeguarding Team

 

Are you passionate about creating a safe and healthy environment for everyone? If so, we are looking for volunteers to be part of our Regional Safeguarding Team, focusing on making scouting more representative of the communities it is part of.

The Safeguarding Team will be promoting a safe and healthy culture and safe spaces in scouting, sharing the good practices going on within scouting and be there to support groups who need it.

Regional Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Leads

As part of our 2022-2025 Strategy, South East Scotland aim to deliver scouting to more young people from diverse backgrounds by recruiting more, well trained, better supported, motivated adult volunteers and to retain those adult volunteers for longer.

The Regional Volunteer Recruitment Lead is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers for the Regional team and other parts of the Region. This role involves designing and executing recruitment strategies and collaborating with various teams to identify and support volunteer needs. The Volunteer Recruitment Lead plays a crucial role in building a dedicated and diverse volunteer community, contributing to the success of the organization’s Region’s aims.

The Regional Volunteer Retention Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction, engagement, and longevity of volunteers within the Region. This position involves creating and implementing strategies to retain volunteers, building strong relationships with them, and continuously improving the volunteer experience. This role requires a dynamic individual who is dedicated to fostering a positive and enriching experience for volunteers, contributing to the Region’s success.
