On 13th October we held our very first “virtual” South East Scotland Annual Review and Annual General Meeting (AGM) to celebrate the achievements of our young people and adult volunteers and to discuss the affairs of the Region and conduct the business.

The Annual Review took the form of a 30-minute video, hosted by Simon Innes, Regional Advisor – International and Niamh Kirkland, Explorer, Pink Panthers and featured contributions from Longcraig Scout Centre, the Gang Show, and an International Trip by members from Braid District. It also focused on what the Network have been up to, interviews with some people who have achieved the very Top Awards in Scouting and finally a look at how we coped with challenges presented by the Covid19 pandemic.

As we did during the AGM, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers in Sections, Groups, Districts, Active Support Units and within the Region for the huge amount of work that you have put in and continue to put in to providing Scouting opportunities for the young people in South East Scotland. We are also hugely appreciative of the way you have responded to the current challenges in continuing to provide Scouting for our young people.
