Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.
For our youngest members, Beavers is all about having fun, making friends, and learning new skills. Beavers meet weekly to try out a huge range of activities, which might include science experiments, crafts, den building and more. We also go on day trips, sleepovers and camps, giving many Beavers a real adventure – their first night away from home!
Across the 7 Districts in South East Scotland, based on the 2021 Census, we have a total of 1,418 Beavers.
Beavers are boys and girls aged 6 and 7 who meet together to have fun, make friends and learn things.

We encourage all parents and carers to take an active interest in what is going on with all sections, including Explorers. If you would like to help see our information for adult volunteers.
