The Region held its first Youth Involvement day at Bonaly in October. The Zombie-themed adventure camp was loved by all those who attended.

They got to have hands-on demonstrations of axe throwing and how to gut fish and cook it to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.
The highlight of the day, from one Explorer, was the Zombie Monopoly run held in the centre of Edinburgh. Instead of having to make money you had to stop a Zombie Outbreak (we think they managed that!).
This was a chance for the young people to shine, have fun and have their opinions heard without the boring old sit-down-and-meet style of meeting. We hope in future to have more Youth Involvement events with even more Explorers joining in.
