The first Edinburgh Gang Show was performed on 14 November 1960 at the King’s Theatre. For more than sixty years, young people from Scouting and Guiding across Scotland’s capital have entertained thousands with their annual production.

The Gang Show might look like pure entertainment from the audience, but there’s a whole world of learning, teamwork, confidence-building, and creativity behind it. Discover how the show supports young people, develops new skills, and brings Scouting and Guiding together in a unique way.

The Gang Show has now been part of life in the UK and beyond for nearly 90 years, and its reach is well known and loved but, like everything, it had a beginning

The Edinburgh Gang Show is a partnership between South East Scotland Scouts, Girlguiding Edinburgh, the City of Edinburgh Council, and Capital Theatres.
It is produced by Edinburgh Gang Show Productions Ltd (EGSPL), a registered Scottish Charity (SC033837).
