Highland Games

Highland Games are a spectacle like no other. At Bonaly we have developed 10 individual events suitable for all ages – try your hand at: Caber Tossing, Barrel Roll, Farmers’ Walk, Hammer Throw (fixed), Hammer Throw (Swing), Haggis Hurl, Weight for Height, Sheaf Toss, Sword Dance and Tug of War. Unbelievable fun!

Step up to the plate and after some careful tuition you will be able to master this awesome activity. Throw your Tomahawk and hit the mark under the guidance of your instructor. Axe and tomahawk throwing is a challenging but fun and safe activity.

Bushcraft

Bushcraft is about thriving in the natural environment, and the acquisition of the skills and knowledge to do so. Bushcraft skills which you can learn at Bonaly consist of 12 modules – Fire lighting, Shelter building, Tarps & Bivis, Water, Cooking, First Aid, Survival, Hygiene, Distress signals, Safe Knife Use, Safe Axe and Saw Use, and Foraging.
