Activities at Bonaly
Thanks for your interest in Bonaly Scout Centre. We are located on the outskirts of the City of Edinburgh, nestling at the foot of the Pentland Hills and offer a range of programme opportunities whether you want to come for a day visit, camping or use our residential self-catering facilities.

Self Led Activities
We currently provide a range of exciting and stimulating self-led activities for all ages. These are offered in two-hour sessions. i.e. 10am to 12 noon, 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.
The cost for the Mini Zip Line, Escape and Grass sledges are £20 per session however the others are £10 per session. These activities must be supervised by a Leader with up to 12 participants at a time. (See risk assessments).
To reserve any of these activities, please use the Activity Request Form. Don’t leave it too late as they are very popular.
Instructor Led Activities
We are now able to offer our instructor-led Mohawk Walk and Nightline Low Ropes activities. The Bonaly Instructor team are volunteers, and these activities are subject to their availability, Please use the Activity Request Form for enquiries and give at least four weeks’ notice.
The Archery Range and equipment are available for Leaders or Instructors who have the necessary qualifications or permits. Please contact the team at Bonaly for more details.
High Ropes Activities
We have recruited a great team of volunteers who are being trained to lead the more adventurous activities using the High Ropes Facility. We hope to offer these in 2024.
