Our Districts
The Region stretches from Edinburgh on the south bank of the River Forth to the English border. It includes the local authority council areas of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and Scottish Borders.
The Region is organised into 7 Districts, each led by a District Lead Volunteer(s) who support a collection of Groups in a geographic area within South East Scotland.
Braid
Braid District covers the geographical area of Blackford, Newington, Gilmerton, Morningside, Greenbank, Buckstone, Fairmilehead and Liberton.
Craigalmond
Craigalmond District covers the geographical area of Corstorphine, Carrick Knowe, Craigsbank, East Craigs, Saughton, Clermiston, Cramond, Blackhall, Comely Bank, Granton, Davidson’s Mains, Craigleith, Kirkliston, and South Queensferry.
East Lothian
East Lothian District covers the local authority area of East Lothian Council.
Edinburgh North East
Edinburgh North East District covers the geographical area of Portobello, Craigentinny, Craigmillar, Duddingston, Joppa, New Town, Broughton, Trinity, Leith, Newhaven, Wardie and Willowbrae.
Midlothian
Midlothian District covers the local authority area of Midlothian Council.
Pentland
Pentland District covers the geographical area of Balerno, Juniper Green, Currie, Ratho, Colinton, Craiglockhart, Baberton, Sighthill, Colinton Mains, Oxgangs, Longstone and Shandon.
The Borders
The Borders District covers the local authority area of The Scottish Borders Council.
